In South Korea, singles celebrate their Anti-Valentine's Day by eating a 자장면 (Ja-jang-myun)
Ja-jang-myun is a Chinese-Korean cuisine that a Chinese immigrant 1905
There's a similar cuisine in Chinese traditional cuisine, but the sauce is less-salty and other ingridients are different from Chinese-Korean version of this delicious noodle.
The noodle is very well known for it's delicious taste, warmth and affordability.
In S. Korea, average price for one of these are about $2.
In America, it averages around $7.
My favorite place to have my ja-jang-myun is a place called
"Chwee-Sung-Roo" 취성루
Why? Because they serve one of the best ja-jang-myun in Los Angeles for $3.99
A true bargain for hungry people
